2025 West Tennessee Racing Series
Beginning November 2024, Jackson Road Runners running club will resume the race series. The series has been developed to promote participation in local races, to create a competitive structure for area runners, and be a source of camaraderie for local runners. This circuit includes many of West Tennessee’s most well organized and well-appreciated races.
To be eligible for the West Tennessee Racing Series awards, a runner must belong to Jackson Road Runners Running Club. Of the 14 races in the series, your Championship Awards points will be calculated from the 7 races that you accumulated the most points. Your series points will be based only against other club members. You will not accumulate points until you join the club. Top finishers in each division are given points in descending order (30-28-26-24-22-20-19-18-17, etc). Divisions are Male and Female: 14 & under, 15–19; 20-29; 30–39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over.
2024-2025 Points Series Rules:
● You must be a member in good standing/paid membership prior to
your first race in the series
● If you were a member in good standing in 2024 and you ran the
Chickasaw Quarter Marathon, those points counted for you
● For the Middle Forks Bottoms 5K to count for you, your membership
dues must be paid prior to the race
● The age group you are in at your first eligible race of the series is the
age group in which you will compete throughout the 2024-2025
series. For example, someone is 59 and competes at the Chickasaw
Quarter Marathon, has a December birthday and is 60 when
competing at Middle Fork Bottoms 5K; he or she will compete in the
50-59 age group for the 2024-2025 Race Series.
Awards:
● 5 races = 1 ticket into the 2025 Jackson Roadrunners Banquet and a
finisher’s certificate
● 7 races = 1 ticket into the 2025 Jackson Roadrunners Banquet, a
finisher’s certificate and a $50 Fleet Feet Jackson gift card. This also
makes you eligible to win your age group
● Age Group Winners = In addition to 1 ticket into the 2025 Jackson
Roadrunners Banquet, a finisher’s certificate and a $50 Fleet Feet
Jackson gift card, our age group winners will receive an additional
$100 Fleet Feet Jackson gift card
